Duncraig was developed through the 1970s and 1980s, and the original stock is mostly double brick and brick veneer with tiled roofs on timber framing. It has been one of the busiest suburbs in Perth for knock-down rebuilds, so a single street can have a 1975 brick-and-tile next to a two-storey home built last year.
